The Great Cobar deposit was the first deposit mined in the Cobar District from 1870. 156 years later Aurelia Metals are driving underground from New Cobar and are 300m away from seeing the Great Ore up close. A presentation by Todd McGilvray, the Group Manager – Exploration for Aurelia Metals. A Central West Exploration Discussion Group (CWEDG -AIG) meeting with the support of AUSIMM at Cobar. Wednesday 14th October 2026, Cobar Golf Club, Bloxham Street, Cobar. 6:00pm for 6.30pm.
